The four people who were arrested for allegedly stealing and selling the Covishield vaccine have been granted bail.
They were each slapped with a GH₵ 80,000 bail sum, with a total bail sum of the four at GH₵320, 000.
In addition to the bail sum, the accused persons must produce two sureties to be justified, who must be persons living within the jurisdiction of the court.

They must also report to the police investigator till the final determination of the case.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that three people have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the stealing and sale of some COVISHIELD vaccines.
According to a joy news report, Disease Control Officer at the Ridge, Stephen Dzisenu, and La Bawalashie Polyclinic officer, Lord Pabitey allegedly stole 36 and 26 vials of the vaccine respectively.
An Occupational Health and Safety Officer, Cosmos Allotey, is believed to have received the stolen merchandise from Pabitey and Dzisenu and administers it to people at GH¢200.00 per jab.
Gaisie, on the other hand, is facing a charge of abetment.
All four have pleaded not guilty to their respective charges.
The accused persons who were represented by three lawyers took turns to make their case.
The defence lawyers urged the court to consider the importance of the Easter celebrations and exercise its discretion in their favour.
The case has been adjourned to April 28, 2021.
In other news, the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) of Ghana has announced that Ghana could start importing unpackaged COVID-19 vaccines in bulk.
That according to the FDA, will give local companies the job to fill the vaccines into empty vials.
The Chief Executive Officer at FDA, Delese Mimi Darko, said this is likely to happen within the next six months.
“We may not be at that end of the entire drug development lifecycle but at least we can start with the filling,” Mrs. Darko said.
She said Ghana could have as many as three companies engaged in the filling process.
