The family of the murdered 10-year-old boy who was killed by two teenagers in Kasoa for money rituals have gathered to lay his remains to rest.

Scores of mourners have gathered at the family house of the late Ishmael Mensah Abdallah for his final funeral rites.

Abdallah funeral has attracted residents, including Muslims and non-Muslims in and around the Coca-Cola community where he was gruesomely killed to mourn with his bereaved family.

While at the ceremony, some of the mourners went to take a glimpse at the uncompleted building where the late Ishmael Mensah Abdallah was killed.

First photos from the ceremony have emerged as the family of the youngster prepare to lay his remains to rest.

Previously, YEN.com.gh reported the Kasoa Divisional Police Command has commenced investigations into the grisly murder of Ishmael Mensah.

The deputy public relations officer (PRO) of the Ghana Police Service, Sergeant Evans Enttiee says both suspects, Felix Nyarko, 16, and Nicholas Kene, 17, are in police custody and will issue statements as part of the ongoing investigation process to give an account of the event to assist the police in its interrogation.

The suspects were arrested on Saturday, April 3, following a distress call by residents of Kasoa Lamptey to the police about the homicide incident.
