13-year-old Sark fan social media helped raise $30,000 for brain tumor surgery dead

Thirteen year old Michael Kofi Asiamah who received massive social media support to raise funds for his brains surgery has died.

Michael was diagnosed with a brain tumor a few weeks ago after constantly complaining of headaches.

An emergency surgery was performed on the March, 25, 2021.

However, social media campaigned for funds to be raised for Michael to to raise a total of $30,000 to complete the entire process of getting the tumor out.

Luckily, the amount was raised within 24 hours for 13-year-old Michael to undergo surgerY.

In a post sighted by YEN.com.gh, mother of the 13 year old, Cordelia Ama Serlormey announced on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 that Michael was out of theater and the surgery was successful.

Unfortunately the little fighter could not fight to hang on to the strings of life, as he gave up the ghost, on April 9, 2021.

In a Facebook post made by his mother some few minutes ago, she wrote;

"Michael had his surgery and it was very successful. He was talking, eating and making a beautiful recovery. We were happy...but that joy was earlier this evening, in less than 20 minutes just snatched away.
Michael had finished eating and was being prepped for bed by the attendees. He complained of a pain in the chest and just like that, my baby was gone! My Michael is gone.," she added
