Our manifesto: This is what YEN.com.gh believes in

Mostly, people in authority and high political offices have the attitude of jumping traffic during rush hour, using the sirens attached to their vehicles.

As YEN.com.gh earlier reported, a Facebook user, Ernest Sanyare commended the occupant of a police service vehicle with registration number GP-9 for being a rare type of police officer.

It is believed that the occupant of the vehicle who is a senior police officer, on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, patiently followed the congested early morning traffic right from in front of Roka International School at Fise area until after Ofankor when he took a different direction while he continued towards Achimota.

News reaching YEN.com.gh has revealed that the occupant of the vehicle has been identified as COP Mr. Manly Awini, the Director-General of Research, Planning, and Transformation at the Ghana Police Service.

He followed the heavy traffic like any other citizen without choosing to abuse the police authority he holds.

Ernest Sanyare Warmann Beinpuo who earlier lauded the police officer for doing the right thing said he is particularly happy and not surprised at his role at the police service Research, Planning, and Transformation department.

Ernest said COP Awini's public road traffic behavior is an indication that he is positioned to contribute at great sacrifice to transform the service by exemplary leadership.

He has once again received much applause from Ghanaians for his exemplary behavior despite wielding power.

Awine Emmanuel said COP Awini does not joke with his convictions

Very humble. Sat under him and I can tell he doesn't joke with his convictions. Such people are often not known.
