- KiDi has shared a video teaser to promote his upcoming album

- The album is titled The Golden Boy, and it will be released in June 2021

Ghanaian artist, KiDi has shared a teaser video for his upcoming, The Golden Boy.

Set to be released in June 2021, the project is the second studio album of the 2021 3Music Awards 'Artist of the Year' winner.

KiDi shared a video of himself prepping, with the caption, 'The Golden Boy is Coming!'.

The album will be released via Lynx Entertainment owned by Richie Mensah and distributed internationally via EMPIRE/MadeInENY.

Currently, the name of producers and possible collaborations are unknown.

In January 2021, it was disclosed that KiDi had signed what Lynx Entertainment called a "game-changing" partnership with the two American music companies.

EMPIRE is a distribution, music publishing, and record label, and MadeInEast New York is a multimedia music and entertainment firm.

A release about the deal said the companies “are planning to hone in on KiDi’s talent, style, hard work, and dedication to continue his growth on the Ghanaian music scene and propel his brand further into the international space.”

In another development, KiDi has been nominated in ten categories including Artiste of the Year at the 2021 Ghana Music Awards.

Speaking of artistes, fast-rising Ghanaian artist, Yaw Tog, is facing heavy criticism following the release of his latest freestyle which he released a few days ago and decided to title it "Me".

The song saw Tog bragging about his collaboration with Ghanaian-British star, Stormzy and garnering 1 million Youtube views in just three days.

"Who got on Billboard last year and got a mili in three days ... do you got hit songs like me? Stormzy came in for who? And who is that black boy winning?" Tog was heard rapping.
