- American comedian Dave Chappelle wants to follow the footsteps of Stevie Wonder by relocating to Ghana

- Chappelle made the disclosure during an interview with Naomi Campbell

- He also added that he wants to build a comedy club in Ghana

Popular American comedian, Dave Chappelle has told Naomi Campbell he wants to follow Grammy-winning singer and songwriter, Stevie Wonder to Ghana.

In February 2021, Wonder shared in an interview with Oprah Winfrey that he plans to relocate permanently to Ghana to ensure that generations after him get the respect they deserve.

During a new interview on No Filter with Naomi podcast on Youtube, Chappelle stated that he wants to follow Wonder when he moves to the West African country.

“I will follow him (Stevie Wonder) over there. Or I’ll go myself,” said Chappelle.

“Hopefully, I will build something there but I’m definitely gonna at least rent something there for the foreseeable future and I hope to open a comedy club there."

In other news, Ghanaian artiste, Stonebwoy, is set to release a new song featuring Ghanaian-American rapper, Vic Mensa, who is signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation.

Titled Blessings, the song produced by legendary Ghanaian producer, Kaywa will be released on Friday, April 16, 2021.

It is believed that the song was recorded when Mensa visited Ghana months ago.

The new feature adds to a number of high-profile collaborations by the 'We Move' artiste, including a recent one with Jamaican music star, Sean Paul.

“I was like nah, I have to be on this album. He says it’s pretty much closed, and I said I don’t mind, just open up a thing… so he goes onto the album and opens a verse for me,” disclosed Stonebwoy about how he became the only non-Jamaican artist featured on Paul's Live and Livin album.
