Ghanaian comedian, DKB, born Derick Kobina Bonney is accusing managers of Child Rights International Ghana of being the cause of the current woes of Ghanaian actress, Akuapem Poloo, known in real life as Rosemond Brown.

On Wednesday, April 14, Poloo was convicted by an Accra circuit court after she pleaded guilty to the charges of publishing obscene material with two counts of domestic violence over posting a nude photo of her son in 2020.

She will be officially sentenced on Friday, April 16, 2021.

Poloo deleted the post after she was severely criticised. She later recorded another video with her son to apologise to Ghanaians for the photo.

Bright Appiah, Executive Director of the non-governmental organization, Child Rights International, reported the actress to the police posting a nude photo of herself and her son on Instagram last year.

Following the news about the conviction, an angry DKB shared his opinion about the issue on Instagram by blasting executives of Child Rights International, Ghana.

"Yes, you've caused her public ridicule. Enough, it's ok. You say you are for children, protecting children, that she traumatized the child by taking a naked picture with him so the court should deal with her, fine," said DKB.

"Now you are sending the mother jail. Do you know how much trauma this little boy has to deal with, knowing that your mother is a prisoner, even adults can't deal with that ... is that how to protect children?" DKB quizzed in a video he posted online.
