Bridget Bonnie: Ghanaian lady dedicates her life to helping needy students on 30th birthday; launches NGO

Bridget Bonnie, a young Ghanaian philanthropist who was the first female SRC president at the Wisconsin International University has used the occasion of her 30th birthday to launch a new commitment to help street children.

Information available to YEN.com.gh indicates that the project is dubbed The PEC Project which represents Personal, Educational, and Career developments for underprivileged children.

The launching was held in a colourful ceremony at the Bayview Village event Centre at Madina Atomic Junction on April 11, 2021, by Dr Kofi Kusi Osei who is also a philanthropist as well as a consultant.

Giving further details at the event, Bridget Bonnie gave a preview of the entire project where she said the PEC Project is targeted at children of school-going age from 12 to 17 years.

We are not just going to schools but rather we intend to get to the homes of children to identify, groom, coach and mentor them.

She also gave out the names of the advisors and assured the general public that, the management of the institution will give out vivid and accurate accounts of any supports received from any individual.

She also assured the public that, the NGO is here to stay and also to impact lives that will be of great influence in the nation.

The NGO in its short-term projection aspires to open an institution in the next 5-10 years where people who can't afford but are interested in vocational and technical skills could be trained for free.
