A throwback picture of Facebook's founder Mark Zuckerberg bagging a Harvard University honorary doctorate degree has got people talking on the social media platform.

In the picture that was shared in 2017, Zuckerberg was flanked by his parents as he posed for the camera after receiving an honorary Doctor of Laws degree during Harvard's 366th graduation ceremony.

In other news, a woman identified as Tristen Johnson celebrated her achievement after becoming the first person in her mum's family to bag a PhD.

Tristen, who also became the first woman in her dad's family to have such a degree, made the disclosure on her LinkedIn page.

She, however, said the journey was rough but that she was blessed because it taught her so much about herself.
