Ghanaians have seriously blasted DJ Slim after he accused singer Gyakie of being 'lazy' and a 'one-way' artiste.

In a video seen by YEN.com.gh, the Radio One 105.7 presenter said the Forever singer is overhyped.

He made those statements whilst sharing his opinion on Gyakie and Amerado's recent performance on United Showbiz on UTV hosted by Nana Ama McBrown.

Slim also added he plays Forever by the Billboard-charting artiste only because people want to listen to it.

His comments were met with disapproval from people who accused him of being a hater.

In other news, Ghanaian model, Abena Akuaba Appiah, has made history as the first black person to win the Miss Grand International beauty pageant. She emerged the winner out of over 60 contestants from around the world during its eighth year which was held in Thailand.

The event was held on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at the Show DC Hall in the capital city of the Asian nation. According to the organisers, the pageant seeks to empower women, and also promote tourism, and other social causes.

“As a queen, my aim is to inspire and motivate young women to be the best versions of themselves and to encourage them to follow their dreams and passions," Appiah said after winning the crown.
