Mother Breastfeeds Baby in One Hand as she Writes Exams in Another, Nigerians React to Viral Photo

A Nigerian mother, Onyedikachi-Nwalozie Marlene Ijeoma, on Saturday, April 24, narrated the hard task she went through while writing her exams.

Ijeoma revealed that while her postgraduate degree in education exams on Friday, April 23, her baby started crying.

She revealed that after the father had tried so hard to calm the child down with various dance steps, he had to give the baby to the invigilators who brought him to her.

The mother said that people often believe that mothers have some ultimate solution to make babies stop crying.

As a solution to make the child stop disturbing, the woman had to breastfeed the baby and stayed in that position for two hours, throughout the duration she wrote her paper.

The woman said she had to go through the same thing while she was writing her master's exams in 2016, saying she hopes she would not have to do the same thing for her PhD.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that a lecturer at the University of Calabar identified as Frederick Bassey was celebrated on social media for assisting one of his students, who is a mother of twins. The lecturer helped his student babysit her twins.

According to Bassey, who talked about the experience on Twitter, the student was writing a statistics exam and he knew she would need help looking after her twins while she wrote the exam.
