Popular Ghanaian fetish priest, Nana Kwaku Bonsam, has spoken over the conversion of one of their own, Nana Agradaa, a fetish priest who claims to have converted to Christianity.

According to him, he cannot fault Agradaa over her conversion, but he would advise her to ensure that she does not speak ill about those who are still in the deity worshipping business.

In a video seen by YEN.com.gh, Kwaku Bonsam revealed that he has not met Agradaa in person before but he really liked her because they were in the same business.

He also raised concerns over Agradaa saying that she would be burning images of her deities live on TV in the coming days.

According to him, gods cannot be burnt as Agradaa is saying, therefore, she should stop making those claims.

Kwaku Bonsam, however, wished Agradaa well in her new endeavour, and reiterated his earlier admonition for her to be decorous in whatever she says about the gods and idol worshippers.

Asked if he would accept an invitation from Agradaa to join Christianity, Kwaku Bonsam laughed sarcastically and said that would not happen.

He explained that there are many pastors who depend on him for powers to run their churches, therefore, there will be no point in joining them.

Meanwhile, Agradaa claimed to have repented after she was arrested and later released.

She was busted during an operation by the National Communications Authority (NCA) on Tuesday, April 20, 2021.

The NCA's operation with the police was to shut down two TV stations belonging to Agradaa, ‘Thunder TV’ and ‘Ice 1 TV’.

A statement by the NCA indicated that Agradaa's stations which are located at Kasoa have expired licenses and were thus broadcasting without authorisation.

Her two stations were part of 49 TV stations to be closed down over issues of expired licenses. After spending almost two days in custody, Agradaa was granted a self-recognisance bail in the sum of GHC500,000.
