A former worker of the Multimedia Group, John Affaidzi Appiah, has recounted his grass to glory journey as he shares five key lessons he learned from his career over the past twenty (20) years.

Affaidzi Appiah disclosed that he started his career as a pupil-teacher at the Ghateco Preparatory School in Koforidua after he graduated from Pope John's Senior Secondary School and Junior Seminary, revealing that a lot has happened in his life over the past twenty (20) years.

''Over the past 20 years, a lot has happened. I bagged a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology and a master's degree in Communications Studies, all from the University of Ghana, Legon.''

After his national service as a teacher at the Mercy Islamic High School, he gained employment as a customer service manager at Intu-IT Ghana.

Affaidzi Appiah later earned a spot in the Multimedia Group as a producer for the Super Morning Show and News File at Joy FM.

''From Joy FM, I worked as Communications Manager for the British High Commission after which I worked as marketing manager for Invest in Africa. After that, I went back into the media and worked as an anchor/presenter for TV3’s New Day Morning Show and doubled as a producer for the Sunrise Morning Show on 3FM,'' he said.

Now, Affaidzi Appiah is the managing director for the Koforidua Clinic and runs a human capital development consultancy he set up in 2017 called A-League Consult.

Celebrating her recent academic milestone, @_laurynalexis took to Twitter to announce that she has graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering with distinction, adding that she completed her four-year programme without any debt.

In other news, Ghanaian limbless gospel singer, Betty Onyameba has not allowed her physical disability to impede her voice and ability to perform spirit-filled songs to win souls for Christ.

Despite being physically impaired, she is an inspiration to many, contributing to the church through powerful ministrations.

Onyameba was not born disabled but had to learn to live with the disability after she was involved in a ghastly accident that claimed the lower part of her body.
