Award-winning Ghanaian musician, Emmanuel Kofi Botchwey famed as Kwaw Kese, has lashed out at those campaigning against the #FixTheCountry trend.

While speaking in a self-recorded video and sighted by YEN.com.gh, the outspoken musician was seen and heard descending on all those who opposed calls to fix the country.

According to him, his house had not seen water flowing for the past three months but he receives water bill every month.

He quizzed how citizens can even fix themselves when there was no water flowing through the taps for bathing.

Kwaw Kese said even the water bodies that were managed by the country has been sold to the Chinese for them to mine gold from.

He went on to address the calls to fix ourselves and said all those who were backing that call were in bed with the government or had been given some 'coins' to shut them up.

"Can you fix yourself when you don't have water to bathe? Can you fix yourself when you don't have light to study?", Kwaw Kese quizzed.

The Swedru Agona singer's comment comes after some celebs, politicians, and influencers started the hashtag #FixYourselfFirst in opposition to the popular #FixTheCountry.

Still, on the subject matter, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ghanaian diminutive social media sensation, Shatta Bandle, known in real life as Firdaus Iddrisu has called on President Akufo-Addo to fix the country immediately.

While speaking in a self-recorded video and sighted by YEN.com.gh, Shatta Bandle spoke passionately about the current happenings in the country in terms of development.
