The Akufo-Addo-led NPP government also claim to be the first country in Africa to implement a universal QR code payment system to solve the issue of the overreliance on cash-dominant payment system.

These projects were released after the youth in the country started a hashtag, #FixTheCountry following issues of hardships rocking the country.

For days, the hashtag has been trending and even caught the attention of international media who have thrown the light on Ghana.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ghanaian diminutive social media sensation, Shatta Bandle, known in real life as Firdaus Iddrisu has called on President Akufo-Addo to fix the country immediately.

While speaking in a self-recorded video and sighted by YEN.com.gh, Shatta Bandle spoke passionately about the current happenings in the country in terms of development.

The self-proclaiming young rich man's major concern as he waded into the viral #FixTheCountry hashtag had to do with the erratic power cuts in the country.
