Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh reported earlier the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia stated that the job of the Akufo-Addo administration is to fix problems of the country including rising unemployment among the youth.

“This is what we have been doing since 2017,” he stated in a Facebook post sighted by YEN.com.gh.

Reacting to the #FixTheCountry calls in the Facebook post sighted by YEN.com.gh, Dr. Bawumia listed several problems the Akufo-Addo administration inherited from the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama administration and fixed in its four and half years in government.

He said, “…it is very important to place the performance of our government over the last four years after inheriting an economy with ‘no meat on the bone’ on record.”

The vice president’s post generated massive reactions, support, and outrage and YEN.com.gh compiled a few.

Kwame Buasapa said: “The masses are saying all what you've claimed to be your achievements aren't happening and are calling on you to fix it yet you're still spreading these falsehoods. You've simply lost touch with reality on the ground.”
