The police went on to recount that when contacted by interested persons, Vincent would ask them to send mobile money to the mobile phone account number registered in the name of Rhydale Addae.

After the money is sent, Vincent would block the client and keep the money without giving out the iPhone.

After police were given intelligence and tip-offs, they used one of his victims as bait to arrest him at the Accra Mall.

Other victims have since come forward to identify Vincent Tawiah as having defrauded them.

The Police are therefore asking persons who have also been defrauded by the suspect to report to the National Operations Department at the Police Headquarters, Ring Road Accra.
