The former communication director of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akomea, has shown off his all-grown son to celebrate the youngster's birthday.

The chief executive officer of the State Transport Corporation (STC) posed beside his lookalike son, who turned a year older on Monday, May 24.

The prominent politician proudly shared the photos along with captions.

''Junior's birthday. Keep growing, boy,'' he captioned the first picture.

In a subsequent post, Nana Akomea expressed gratitude to loved ones and colleagues who showered his son with birthday compliments.

''Thank you all for your kind wishes for Junior on his birthday. God bless us all,'' he posted.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh earlier reported an American Ghanaian author, Isaac Addae, has notched another academic milestone as he earns a PhD in Business Administration and Management from Morgan State University.

Addae has recounted his journey to attaining the feat in a recent post on LinkedIn.

The author of Black Boy Fly, a book he is set to release in the Summer this year, disclosed it seemed impossible when he first began the journey to acquiring a PhD in 2010 but God made it possible.

In other news, Incredible Zigi, born Michael Amofa, has gained international prominence for his wide range of dance steps and ability to create.

Amofa is credited as the creator of the Pilolo and Kupe dance steps as elements in Afrobeats/Azonto, which have been infused in choreographies by internationally acclaimed musicians and dancers, including American singer and dancer, Janet Jackson.
