Ghanaian artiste, MzVee has opened up about what is said to be the Lynx Entertainment 'curse' - a situation where artistes who leave the label lose their appeal as public figures.

A few years ago, she went on an unexplained break, only to return as an independent artiste, partnering with other music companies on her songs.

In past years, the likes of Eazzy, OJ Blaq, and Asem lost their mainstream acclaim after they parted ways with the Richie Mensah-founded label. The phenomenon became known as the Lynx Entertainment 'curse.'

In a new interview, MzVee stated that she did think about suffering the same fate as her former colleagues.

"Not at the time, but after. When I thought of coming back, then it started to dawn on me like 'okay," the Daavi singer said to Ebenezer Donkor on Y 102.5 FM.

"Because they've always said there's this 'Lynx curse' and I think it's become psychological so when you leave, you just get scared, and then everything just goes away."

In other news, Media Personality, Amanda Jissih, has disclosed that her decision to leave Hitz FM was a result of being frustrated by her former colleague, Prince Tsegah.

She made the disclosure in a new interview with Ola Micheals on Neat FM on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

Jissih left Hitz FM, owned by the Multi Group Limited some three years ago. During the recent interview, she shared some insights on what influenced her decision.

"He (Tsegah) always wanted to be the main host. And so I remember when I dropped my resignation, I sent a message via WhatsApp and said 'I leave him to God, and God would expose him," Jissih said.
