A Ghanaian woman, whose name is withheld, allegedly stabbed her former lover, Dannis Amarh-Boye, to death on the night that Chelsea won the Champions League and he was celebrating the victory.

According to myjoyonline.com, the woman suspected to perpetrate the crime at Teshie had previously filed a report at the Domestic Violence Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU) over her ex-lover's negligence.

She alleged in her report that was filed two weeks earlier that the man had refused to fend for any of the three children that they had together.

However, Dennis Tetteh, who is a family member said that he personally intervened to make sure that the matter was resolved between the former couple before the recent development.

Dennis Tetteh also indicated that Dannis Amarh-Boye was quickly rushed to the hospital after the gory incident but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the 37 Military Hospital.

The suspect who stabbed the man right through the chest is currently on the run as police make efforts to arrest her for further investigation.

Meanwhile, a 35-year-old midwife, Priscilla Baah, has died from postpartum haemorrhage after she gave birth at Newland Hospital, a private health facility in Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

It is alleged that the sad incident occurred due to negligence on the part of the health officers on duty at the private facility, but insider information obtained by YEN.com.gh has revealed that was not the case.
