- A Nigerian traffic warden recently got more than what he bargained for when he got into a civilian's car to use his power on him

- The motorist who committed no offence decided to deal with the warden by speeding off, and this got the officer calling on Jesus and begging for his dear life

- After the motorist stopped the car, the officer got out within seconds, obviously thankful that he didn't meet his Waterloo

A Nigerian traffic warden has been taught a lesson of his life by a motorist and many can't stop laughing over the incident.

In a video making the rounds on social media, the officer got into the man's car despite the fact that the latter committed no offence. The motorist decided to speed off and the officer called on Jesus and appealed to the driver to let him alight.

A traffic warden of repute

YEN.com.gh previously reported that a traffic warden, Oloyede Temitope, was celebrated for his selfless service and how he goes about his work without fuss.

In April, Oloyede was picked as the Splash FM Hero of the month. In a video interview done by Ayo Adams, the officer said he sees himself as a servant to the people.

The officer is popular in Ibadan where he directs traffic along custom-secretariat road in the city. A resident, Abdulmumin Adebiyi, said the man corrects erring motorists in love without looking for a way to fleece them of their money.
