All is set for the final funeral rite of late Chief Executive Officer of the Forestry Commission of Ghana and former New Patriotic Party former General Secretary, Sir John.

Known in real life as Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, the NPP stalwart is set to be buried on Thursday, June 3, 2021, in his hometown, Sakrawo-noo.

Prior to the funeral service, a photo of the NPP bigwig's final resting place has popped up on social media.

The photo showed a painted, walled, and gated edifice looking like a 2-bedroom house with a huge picture of Sir John mounted on it.

Reports reaching YEN.com.gh from Adom FM indicated that the edifice was going to be Sir John's tombstone and final resting place.

Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie famed as Sir John was born in 1957 but died on July 1, 2020.

He was a Ghanaian lawyer and politician who held a top position in the party of the current ruling government.

Sir John held several political positions including serving as general secretary of the New Patriotic Party.

He was serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the Forestry Commission of Ghana before his demise.

In other news, former HIV/AIDS ambassador, Joyce Dzidzor Mensah has taken an HIV test on live TV amid media presence.

She called a press conference where she took the test for all to see.

The outspoken ex-HIV/AIDS ambassador also made two out of her four children take the test on live TV.

When the results came out, she tested positive for the virus while her kids - one boy and one girl - tested negative.

The family took a test prior to the live testing and that result too matched the one they took on live TV.
