Chelsea winger, Callum Hudson-Odoi is in Ghana on a visit. Hudson-Odoi arrived at the Kotoka Airport on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.

A video sighted by YEN.com.gh shows the English Premier League star was met on arrival by singer King Promise.

In the video, Hudson-Odoi is seen hugging King Promise and having a hearty chat with him as they moved along.

The England international was received with a whole traditional dance (adowa) troupe and he did not hesitate to join them.

Callum Hudson-Odoi's Ghana ties

Born in England on November 7, 2000, Hudson-Odoi has a Ghanaian father. His father is Bismark Odoi, a former Hearts of Oak midfielder.

Though he was eligible to play for Ghana, Hudson-Odoi opted to play for the country of his birth, England.

In March 2019, he became the youngest player to debut in a competitive match for England, doing so in UEFA Euro 2020 qualifiers against the Czech Republic.

Chelsea's Champions League triumph

Hudson-Odoi's visit comes after he helped Chelsea to win their second-ever UEFA Champions League last weekend.

Chelsea defeated fellow English Premier League giants, Manchester City, in the final of the most prestigious club competition on Saturday, May 29, 2021.

The Londoners triumphed over the Mancunians with a goal scored by German international Kai Havertz.

Ghanaian man gifts smock to N'Golo Kante

Meanwhile, a Ghanaian man, Abu Bakr Bapube, has presented a customised smock to Hudson-Odoi's teammate N'Golo Kante.

Bapube presented the smock to Kante on behalf of Chelsea supporters in Ghana

In photos sighted by YEN.com.gh, Kante was excited to receive the gift from the Ghanaian.
