Captain of the Black Stars of Ghana, Andre Dede Ayew, has been released by his club, Swansea City, as his contract with the team has expired after the 2020-2021 season.

In a post that was made on the verified Twitter handle of Swansea City AFC, it is indicated that Andre Ayew will be departing from the club together with some of his other teammates namely, Kieron Freeman, Declan John, and Barrie McKay.

The Ghanaian skipper's performance at the Liberty Stadium was a brilliant one and some football lovers have suggested that he is leaving a living legend.

The 31-year-old was the top scorer of the United Kingdom-based club with a whopping 16 goals in the championship last season.

It is not yet clear what the next club will be for the Ghanaian skipper but it is believed that he will be spoiled for choice as a lot of clubs will vouch for him to join their team.

Dede Ayew's name has been trending on Twitter on the morning of June 4, 2021, due to the transfer, with many people trying to predict which club he will join next.

In an interview with Joy News, the talented Ghanaian rapper indicated that he used to sing at the Grace Pillar Chapel and too many ladies including choristers, ushers, and more were falling for him.
