The Member of Parliament for Jomoro Constituency, Dorcas Affo Toffey, has donated 20 pieces of sewing machines to 20 graduands of the Ghana National Association of Tailors and Dressmaker (GNATD) of the Half-Assini zone, in Half-Assini on June 6, 2021.

Information obtained from the MP's personal aide indicates that Dorcas Toffey, who is the mother of famous Ghanaian musician, Fantana, congratulated the graduands on their years of sacrifice and training.

The MP also assured the recipients of her continuous support and explained to them that designers are among the best-paid workers in the world.

She, therefore, encouraged them to improve on their craft to get the best out of it and also urged the graduands to use social media to extend their reach to customers all over the world.

Ms Elizabeth Ackachie who received the items on behalf of the graduands thanked the MP for her benevolence and prayed for the MP's continuous support to the association.

Present at the ceremony were the MP, former Presiding Member for Jomoro, George Blay Morkeh and some Assembly Members in Jomoro.
