A video of a white man speaking fluent Twi with some Ghanaian diasporas on a bus has gone viral
The man who has been reported as a native of London in the United Kingdom disclosed that he learned the Asante Twi during his stay in Ghana
He indicated that he knows Sekondi-Takoradi in the Western Region

A video of a white man communicating in fluent Twi with some Ghanaian diasporas has gone viral on social media.

In the video sighted by YEN.com.gh, the man who has been reported as a native of London in the United Kingdom and the Ghanaian diasporas were aboard a bus to an unknown destination.

The unidentified man contributed to a conversation his Ghanaian seatmate was having with another Ghanaian man in fluent Twi, the video posted on social media captured.

Communicating in the popular Akan language instead of the English Language, the elderly man disclosed that he learned the Asante Twi during his stay in Ghana.

''I know [Sekondi-Takoradi in the Western Region] well, I've been there,'' he answered a curious passenger who asked if he has toured the region.

Aside from the Twi dialect, the London man indicated that he has forgotten how to speak Ga, Hausa, and Krobo.

Despite relocating to his birth country for a long time, he said he tries to speak to Ghanaians daily when he meets them.

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported a visually impaired mother of two, Florence Kpoblenu, has given a heart-rending narration about how she became blind and her subsequent struggle with stigma.

Before 1994, she had functioning eyes and was fully grown when she suddenly became blind completely after a severe headache.

Kpoblenu had no prior knowledge of how to manoeuvre her way as a visually impaired person but had to cater for her children singlehandedly. Her husband abandoned them after she became blind.
