Sarah Obeng Amoako, a 22-year-old Ghanaian lady, has become an expert at making beautiful slippers in spite of the fact that she lives with autism.

Her mother, Madam Esther, who spoke to YEN.com.gh, indicated that Sarah is a great blessing to the entire family with her brilliance, talent, and creativity.

"She is such a great blessing to us. Because of her slippers, we are already getting orders from outside Ghana, although this started not long ago," Sarah's mother further indicated.

According to Madam Esther, she discovered that Sarah had a special ability when the young lady started arranging things around the house very neatly and creatively.

"I decided to let her be an apprentice with a woman who makes these slippers and now, look at the result! We thank Jehovah!" the happy mother said.

Beautiful pictures of Sarah's designs were also shared on Facebook by Afi Antonio, the founder of the Afi Antonio Foundation, who has also become widely known as a strong advocate seeking inclusion for persons living with autism.

"Autism is not a disability, it is a condition. Stop the stigma! Let's love and accept persons living with autism," Afi mentioned.
