14-year old Ghanaian actor, Attah Abraham who plays the lead in the yet to be released war drama, 'Beasts Of No Nation' has won the Marcello Mastroianni’s Best Young Actor Award at the 2015 Venice Film Festival.  Young Abraham  stars alongside Idris Elba in the movie

Director of the movie, Cary Fukunaga revealed in an interview with the Business Insider that Atta Abraham was essentially a street vendor before he was randomly selected for the film. According to Fukunaga , the young actor had zero film experience and little education but he became a somewhat professional actor, which was astounding to watch.

Abraham’s character joins a militant group from an unnamed West African country that is led by a brutal warlord, played by Idris Elba . Cary Fukunaga said Abraham performed extremely well.

'Beasts Of No Nation' will be released worldwide via NetFlix
