ECG Disconnects Power To Accra Polytechnic For Over GH₵ 2m Indebtedness

The Accra Polytechnic has been disconnected from the national electricity grid following its indebtedness to the Electricity Company of Ghana at a tune of over GH₵ 2 million (exactly GH₵ 2,750,035.17).

Public Relations Officer of the Accra West Region of the ECG, Eric Asante has revealed to the Daily Graphic its resolve not to reconnect power to the polytechnic until it refinances 80 percent of its debt.

The move follows ECG's resolve in embarking on a exercise to recover money owed it thus charging all indebted customers  to start paying for the company to deliver quality services.
