Rev. Dr Yaw Frimpong Manso Tells Presby Church He Is Not Gay

The Presbyterian Church of Ghana is appealing to its immediate past Moderator, Very Rev. Dr Yaw Frimpong Manso to withdraw his decision to leave the church.

Speaking on Citi FM Thursday, Public Relations Officer of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rev. George Larby said they have communicated with Rev. Frimpong Manso and have asked him to rescind the decision.

Rev. Larbi expressed surprise and shock at the resignation of Rev. Manso’s resignation. “We are appealing to him to reconsider his decision, we need him; he is a great man. Everybody knows the contribution of Dr. Frimpong Manso…”

Meanwhile the former moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana PCG, Rev. Dr. Yaw Frimpong Manso has said his church in Bronx does not endorse homosexuality.

In an interview with Citi News, Rev Frimpong Manso said “my church that I am taking care of is the Presbyterian church of Ghana members here and Presbyterian Church member serving God in Bronx and I am not a gay, they are not gay.”

Very Rev. Manso resigned from the Presbyterian Church Ghana on Wednesday. The decision to resign follows a resolution by the leadership of the Presby Church Ghana to end their relationship with pro-homosexual Presbyterian Church, United States of America over their decision to ordain gay priests.
