Detectives attached to the State Criminal Investigative Department and a team of anti-robbery police from the Area C police command Surulere in Lagos state, have arrested the alleged master-mind said to be the leader of a cult gang that beheaded a yet to be identified man at the Ebute-Metta area of the state a few weeks back.
The combined team of policemen who have been conducting a manhunt for the killers made headway on Friday, October 23, as they were said to have arrested one Omo Kasky, alias Sobo, over the beheading.
A police source stated that the combined team stormed the Railway Otto White Sand area at Ebute -Metta and arrested the suspect.
The suspected cultists reportedly beheaded a rival gang member in a show of supremacy in Lagos.
It was gathered that the cultists stormed the Otto area and threw the head of a yet to be identified man at residents at the Ebute-metta area of Lagos state and fled after dumping the head on the street.
The incident which happened about 7pm at Daudu Lane Otto-Ilogbo area, a slum, caused panic as the residents scampered for safety.

Residents have claimed they cannot ascertain if the deceased was murdered before he was beheaded.
The beheading is the second in the last year as the police had earlier recovered the decomposing head of a suspected cultist identified as Million.
According to the investigation, the beheading is believed to be the handiwork of a cult gang to avenge the brutal murder last year of one Skippo, the leader of the Skippo gang.
