Hundreds of children admitted at the Princess Marie Louise Children's hospital in Accra under emergency cases have their lives on the balance due to the acute shortage of oxygen thus resulting in the death of a new born baby.
The dire situation at the hospital is feared to have placed the survival of babies on a slim margin - a development which has caused parents very worried.
Reports from Starr FM shows an affected father who got turned away in his effort to have medical authorities attend to his sick ward. According to the troubled father, all patients have been referred to the 37 Hospital or Ridge Hospital due to the situation.
Meanwhile, Administrator of the Princess Marie Louise Children's hospital, Sefakor Kumhor has revealed to Starr FM the development has been brought to their notice and that all possible measures are being taken to avert the situation.
