Four women were stripped naked, tied up, burned and tortured over alleged witchcraft and sorcery in a Papau New Guinea.
The four women were reportedly detained and tortured by fellow villagers after a young man fell ill in August this year. The footage was uploaded to YouTube with a disturbing discription: “According to that belief, the women are suspected of being witches who have removed and eaten a man’s heart, causing him to be gravely ill or to die.”

The video shows furious men, allegedly the relatives of the affected man, armed with machetes and wire interrogating four naked women lying on the ground.
The one of them is heard saying: “My son, stop it!” A man replies: “Talk out, where did you put it? Burn her with the wire.” “I’ve got nothing to do with it. I am a mother with five children,” says another woman. “I didn’t eat it! Why are you doing this to me? I was at home cooking food. I didn’t do it!”
And although they repeatedly denied the accusations the “punishers” didn’t stop their torture. It’s believed that at least one woman died during after the ordeal.
What is even more terrifying is that such acts is a common practice on the ireland, where the torture is filmed or photographed and then shared.
One of the local sources commented on the incident: “There’s no real way they can prove themselves innocent. Once they’re suspected they’re basically done for, they’ll be tortured and maybe killed as well. It’s not police photos or anything of the crime being shared. It’s actual participants who are there and actually bragging about what they’re doing.”
