Mahama Promises Not To Overspend During Election Year

President John Dramani Mahama has registered his resolve to desist from overspending thus would not succumb to the pressures and demands of the 2016 election period as he aims at maintaining fiscal discipline in the budget of government.

Interacting with some Ghanaian students across various institutions in India, President Mahama gave a narrative of Ghana's economic structure and the best policies government was taking in making sure the country's macro economic outlook does not look bleak.

Meanwhile President Mahama will later today, hold bilateral talks with the Indian Prime Minister, officials of the Indian EXIM Bank and the CEOs of a number of Indian businesses.
