His Excellency President Kadre Desire Ouedraogo – the Former Prime Minister of Burkina Faso who was also Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of West African States and presently the President of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), has been confirmed to attend the prestigious Pan African Humanitarian Awards scheduled for Accra on November 14, 2015.
The Pan African Humanitarian Awards popularly referred to as Africa’s Prestigious Night of Honour will be all about royalty, glitz and glam with great number of Africa’s finest personalities as guests. Recently joining the list are: the Former President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Agyekum Kufuor, Mr. Zemedeneh Negatu-Managing Partner for Ernst & Young Airline in Ethiopia and Head of Transaction Advisory Services for Eastern Africa; renowned Russia based Journalist/blogger-Stella Dimor kukus; veteran Pilot and President of Association of Nigerian Pilots and Aircrafts Engineers – Capt. Isaac Balami to mention but few.
Further specially enlisted are: His Excellency, Sen. George Akume, a Nigerian Senator and first Executive Governor of Benue State to have completed two terms in office, Eminent Celebrity and only Ghanaian blogger on Wikipedia- Ameyaw Debrah; Malak Al- Akiely, a Jordanian who founded the Golden Wheat for Grain Trading and Senior Partner in the Ayla Aviation Academy; Harvard University-trained Programme Manager and District Governor, Rotary International (District 9125) – Dr. Mike Omotosho who will be bringing his over 20 years of professional excellence and experience in service to humanity to bare as the Keynote Speaker, Monica Davies renowned actress from Gambia and many more.
In a recently held Media Parley, Mr. Alassane Dia, Director, Contact and Mobilization announced the development. Also speaking, Mr Geroge Kobina Edah, Director Logistics and Strategy emphasized on the need to encourage and appreciate those that have given their time, resources and life making Africa better and not bitter for us all.
Babalola Omoniyi, Director-West African Region and Principal Partner further stressed that the Pan-African Humanitarian Awards is conceived to recognize and profile men and women, leaders and peace builders creating change at the grassroots to national levels in Africa and also people who have demonstrated kindness in building and supporting the less privilege in their community.
