Mzbel Gets Support From VRA To Fight 'Dumsor'
According to singer, Mzbel she has received a cheque for an undisclosed amount of money from the Volta River Authority (VRA) in support of her campaign to end the 'dumsor' or erratic power cuts in Ghana.

Mzbel made a post on her Instagram page, suggesting the said money was part of VRA’s role in helping her embark on her #SayNoToIllegaConnection and #StopIllegalConnection campaign which is geared towards her #HelpStopDumsor project.. The Volta River Authority (VRA) is an electric power utility corporation established to primarily ensure the generation of electric power.

A few months ago, Mzbel released a song produced by Fimfim titled “Dumsor” and since then, she has made it a point to educate people on the need to reserve energy and their role in curbing Ghana’s power crisis.

Ghana has been experiencing erratic power supply since 2012 and the government hasn’t been able to find a solution to it. There have been many promises, but none has seen the light of day.

Mzbel posted a photo of herself receiving a cheque and tagged it as follows:
