Reports indicate that the President of Ghana’s Actors Guild, Rev. Eddie Coffie has passed on to glory.
Rev. Coffie was elected president of the Actors Guild (GAG), the umbrella body for Ghanaian actors, in October 2014.
He took over from Nii Odoi Mensah who had been the guild’s president for several years.He was deputised by veteran actress, Vivian Achor.
A veteran actor who confirmed the sad news to Starrfmonline.com says the family would like to keep the details of the Reverend’s death private until they are able to make a formal announcement.
According to Myjoyonline.com, the veteran actor on died Friday morning while on admission at the Ridge Hospital in Accra.
Rev Eddie Coffie, according to our sources, had been battling an unknown ailment for some months and went into coma last week.
