Disgruntled chairman of the New Patriotic Party Paul Afoko has accused acting chairman Freddie Blay of organising illegal NEC meeting.
In a statement signed by spokesperson of Mr. Afoko, he cautioned members of the National Executive Committee against attending a meeting being called by Mr. Freddie Blay.
“...interim injunction served on the party restraining the party and Mr. Freddie Blay from holding any meetings and also holding himself out as the acting national chairman, until the substantive motion is heard and disposed of,” the statement further noted.According to Mr. Afoko, neither he nor the general secretary of the party, Kwabena Agyepong is aware of the meeting.
