The Premier League side has now collected 10 points and tops the group after Juventus drew 1-1 with Borussia Monchengladbach away in Germany.
In another marquee match played last night, Real Madrid beat Paris Saint Germain 1-0 to ensure their place in the next round of the Champions League matches.
The only goal of the crunch clash at the Santiago Barnabeu was scored by defender Nacho who came off the bench to replace injured Marcelo.
