Robert Lewandowski scores after a delicious cross from Thiago.
The Polish striker timed his run perfectly, and diverted the cross past Petr Cech.
Brilliant finish, brilliant finish for the hosts.
Terrible start for Arsenal.
Arsenal already down by 2-0.
Meanwhile at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea 1-0 Dynamo Kiev.
Chelsea have the lead.
Jose Mourinho’s men swept from left to right with a crossfield pass from Baba, Willian crossed from the right and an own goal from Dynamo defender Aleksandar Dragovic puts the Blues in front.
Relief for Jose Mourinho and the Blues fans sing his name and applaud.
Bayern's Thomas Muller nearly scores a third and a personal second as Cech rises to the occasion.
GOAAAAAAL!!!! Brilliant drive from David Alaba gives Bayern the third goal.
It is half time at the Allianz Arena, Bayerrn 3- 0 Arsenal.
46′ Second half kicks of
51′ GOAOOOOOOAAAAAAAL! Maccabi 0-2 Porto (André André)
49′ GOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAL!!!!!! Gent 1-0 Valencia
48′ GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAL! Roma 2-2 Leverkusen.
Meanwhile it is a GOAAAAAL!!! at Allianz Arena for the Gunners by Olivier Giroud in what looks like a consolation one.
GOAL! Bayern Munich 4 Arsenal 0 (Robben 55') Robben scores with his first touch! Costa sends a pass through to Alaba, who flies forward from left back and pulls the ball back for Robben who smashes it home from about six yards. Stunning stuff again from Bayern.
Big chance for Arsenal, but Cazorla can't find the finish. Great build-up sees the ball fall to the Spaniard one-on-one with Neuer, and the big keeper makes the save. Meanwhile Campbell is brought off for Gibbs.
Another chance for Arsenal, but this time Monreal stumbles over his feet as he goes to get the shot away. Again, very tidy build-up from the Gunners, with Cazorla, Ozil and Giroud all involved.
Again it's Arsenal who look like scoring, as Giroud's cross is blocked by Alaba. They have looked threatening at times on the counter but they have missed that scorching pace of Walcott to be able to really capitalise.
Olympiakos have equalised against Zagreb. If the Greeks win that one, then Arsenal will be massively up against it.
GOAL! Bayern Munich 4 Arsenal 1 (Giroud 69'): They've deserved that Arsenal and that's a stunning goal. Alexis delives the cross, and Giroud chests the ball down and produces an outstanding volley to bury the ball bast Neuer.
Robben given a lot of room by Monreal, who shows him onto his right foot, but Cech is able to stand up and make the save.
After that flurry of Arsenal chances, the game has settled down a bit in the last few minutes. But Arsenal are still pressing, and Alexis has a decent volleyed attempted blocked.
87 min GOAAAL! Thomas Muller gets a fifth goal against Arsenal in a clinical way.
93 min And it is all over at 5-1 in Bayern Munich's favour.
