Demonstrators Against Suspension Of Paul Afoko Alleged To Have Been 'Rented', Paid GH¢ 50.00 Each.

Reports from Accra-based Kasapa FM indicates that all persons who converged at the Party Headquarters of the opposition New Patriotic Party in protest against the indefinite suspension of former Chairman Paul Afoko were 'rented' at a cost of  GH¢ 50.00 each.

According to the local radio station, the said demonstrators who posed as staunch supporters of Paul  Afoko were mere strangers rented from different parts of  Accra. Kasapa FM, citing the International Press Centre as its main point of reference further revealed that while a good number have received their funds, several others are yet to get paid their monies.

The protesters gathered at the premises of the  party’s headquarters demanding for Paul Afoko to be reinstated as head of the party describing his indefinite suspension as illegal.

Meanwhile, the opposition New Patriotic Party is yet to react to the said allegation by the local radio-station as an official statement has not been issued in that regard.
