Workers of the Judicial Service of Ghana (JUSAG) who started their strike on November 2, 2015 have called off their industrial action.
This follows the release of funds by government to pay their outstanding allowances. JUSAG members embarked on an industrial action over unpaid outstanding allowances detailing leave, fuel, overtime, and other allowances.
The statement further called on government’s attention to their consolidated salaries approved by the judicial council and submitted for approval by the President.
They noted that the coming into effect of the consolidated salaries will stray any industrial action that may be related to the payment of their salaries and allowances.
