Tertiary Students Give Government Ultimatum Over Payment Of Utility Bills

Government has until Monday, November 9 to revert the decision by the Power Ministry that students in tertiary institutions start paying utility bills effective next year, 2016 as student leaders warn they are bound on taking drastic measures should the Power Ministry goes ahead with its directive.

One of the student leaders, Davis Ohene Fobi made the intentions of all students known on  local radio as he insisted that the payment of utility bills by students was inappropriate.

The Power Minister, Dr. Kwabena Donkor has announced that students in tertiary institution will be paying for their utility bills effective next year. Meanwhile, government is yet to respond to the said ultimatum.
