Aston Villa's new manager Remi Garde has revealed he has quiet a good knowledge about Ghana striker Jordan Ayew and the other players who were signed from the French top-flight.
Jordan is among four players who were signed from the French Ligue 1 in the summer to help boost the fortunes of the Aston Villa.
Jordan Veretout, Jordan Amavi, Jordan Ayew and Idrissa Gana are the players the Birmingham based club signed to help improve their fortunes in the premier league from French clubs but Ayew is the only one among them to have shown signs of repaying the confidence reposed in him.
However the Ghanaian striker did not have a smooth start in the English Premier League despite showing enough hunger for success and has been criticized for not scoring for more than two months since joining the top-flight.
Ayew has since scored in two successive matches but more is expected of the Ghanaian and the other players signed from the French top-flight league.
Aston Villa’s new coach, also a French man says he will work hard to find out what makes them tick to bring out the best in them but warns that just because he is French, does not mean he will instantly get them to perform.
Aston Villa bought Jordan Ayew from Lorient and went on to get former France youth international, Jordan Amavi from OGC Nice. They later on extended their grip with purchases of Jordan Veretout and Idrissa Gana from Nantes and Lille respectively but are still struggling and find themselves down the premier league ladder.
