Chelsea defender Baba Rahman has insisted that he and his colleagues are still fully behind Jose Mourinho and are determined to fight and save his job as manager.
The Ghanaian player who joined the club from German side Augsburg ahead of the 2015-16 campaign said it in the wake of their 2-1 Champions League win over Dynamo Kiev on Wednesday.
Mourinho's position at Stamford Bridge has come under intense scrutiny following a disappointing start to the season, with reports of dressing room recalcitrance having emerged on several occasions as a key factor. Mourinho himself has rubbished such claims and said he trusted his players.
Willian's late free-kick in the game ultimately spared the Premier League champions' blushes as they picked all three points to end a run of four games without a win, and Baba has stressed the players are ready to fight for their boss, Jose.
Baba since joining Chelsea says he is pleased with how things have gone for him at Stamford Bridge so far.
