English Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur will cross over to Emirates Stadium to square it out against Arsenal in a London derby.
The fixture will mark the 12th round of the EPL 2015/2015 with Arsenal, second behind Manchester City in the EPL table with 25 points but have inferior goal differences while Tottenham at position five after garnering 20 points.
Tottenham are likely to snatch a crucial win at Emirates. The last time Mauricio Pochettino side grabbed maximum points from the Gunners was back in 2010/2011 season.
Tottenham are in good form and will pull a surprise after managing three wins in their last three fixtures. Arsenal on the other hand, have been consistent in the EPL clashes but failed to replicate that outstanding form in the UEFA Champions League.
Gunners bowed out to Bayern Munich in the Group F clash that has left them rooted bottom with two matches to go.
The Spurs, in one of the top four clash, stunned Manchester City 4-1 to break their unbeaten run and are likely to capitalise on the Gunners’ defensive lapses.
Arsene Wenger’s side’s, weaknesses were exposed on Wednesday. Their defense and defensive midfield was porous and Tottenham have young players who are likely to exploit Wenger’s frailties.
Arsenal will hope Laurent Koscielny recover from a hip problem before the clash to get a starting slot.
Arsenal players who are likely to be ruled out unless they pass lateness fitness are Mikel Arteta with an ankle injury and David Ospina who is nursing a shoulder injury.
Other players ruled out include, right-back Hector Bellerin, Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Danny Welbeck and Tomas Rosicky.
Tottenham will rely on their arrow head, Harry Kane who has so far netted four goals this season to put on his scoring boot.
Their coach Pochettino is closing his fingers for Danny Rose who sustained an injury against Aston Villa to be fit as well as Clinton Njie and Son Heung-min who made a substitute appearance against Anderlecht on Thursday after six weeks out.
