For many who do not know what obstetric fistula entails, it is a hole between the vagina and rectum or bladder that is caused by prolonged obstructed labor, leaving a woman incontinent of urine or feces or both. For women with obstructed labor, labor that goes unattended, the labor can last up to six or seven days. About 1000 women suffer from this in Ghana each year. lets make Ghana a better place #together we can".
According to Wikipedia, Obstetric fistula or vaginal fistula is a medical condition in which a hole develops between either the rectum and vagina or between the bladder and vagina after severe or failed childbirth, when adequate medical care is not available.
