The spat between two of Ghana’s foremost anti-corruption campaigners - Martin Amidu and Anas Aremeyaw Anas has left lots of Ghanaians confused and in limbo.
The former Attorney General, Martin Amidu has alleged that the undercover journalist, Anas was commissioned and sponsored by the government to undertake the judicial corruption scandal and will prove it in subsequent statements.
But Anas reacted by describing Mr. Amidu’s claims as “baseless and hollow”, challenging the ‘Citizen Vigilante’ to come out with his evidence.
The twist got interesting when Mr. Amidu released a third statement; this time alleging that Anas’ Tiger Eye PI is a “fraudulent and unregistered” firm hence the government is dealing with an illegal company.
This has left many Ghanaians in a fix with some commenting on Social Media [Twitter]. Below are some of the post on Twitter about the Anas-Amidu ‘fight’.
