Emmanuel Adu who teaches both Mathematics and Information Communication Technology (ICT) at the basic school is reported to have secured several injuries in the cause of the beating.

It all happened when the teacher, during class hours spotted Pokuaa playing. Pokuwaa then insulted Emmanuel Adu (the teacher) after he adviced  her to be attentive in class. The disrespectful behaviour of Pokuwaa then saw the teacher caned her as part of instilling discipline in her.
