MP In Volta Region Builds 'Pure Water' Factory In Cemetery

The decision by the Member of Parliament for the Buem Consitutency, Daniel Ashiamah to establish a sachet water factory at a cemetery has left resident agitated as they claim the location used to be an old cemetery for victims of mysterious deaths.

The residents of the old Baika traditional community in the Jasikan district of the Volta Region thus reveal the decision by their MP is uncalled for as the location for the factory remains less appealing and unhygienic.

Meanwhile, Daniel Ashiamah is insisting the choice for the construction of the factory is nothing to worry about as all dead bodies and other contaminated materials have decomposed.

When completed, the said factory is expected to create employment for the youth, as well as generate revenue for the community.
